Accessibility Statement

1. Our commitment

G8 IT aims to make g8support.com usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology such as screen readers, switch devices, keyboard-only navigation, voice control, and screen magnification. We treat accessibility as a first-class engineering concern, not an afterthought.

2. Conformance target

We target the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.

3. Current status

We conducted an accessibility audit on 2026-05-15. The site passes the most common automated checks, including alt text on content imagery, visible focus states, a sensible heading hierarchy, correct lang attributes, honoring of motion preferences, and color contrast on key surfaces. We are actively improving lower-priority issues and re-auditing on each release.

4. Known limitations

• Muted footer text contrast. Some color contrast in muted footer text falls below the 4.5:1 ratio required for AA. We are improving these surfaces.
• Embedded third-party content. Cloudflare Turnstile and any embedded analytics widgets are rendered by third parties and may not fully meet WCAG.
• AI receptionist demo streaming. The streamed output of the AI receptionist demo is announced to screen readers via a polite live region, but the typing-style animation may interrupt some screen-reader configurations.

5. Features in place

• Semantic HTML with ARIA used only where native semantics fall short.
• ARIA labels on icon-only buttons and controls.
• Visible keyboard focus states across all interactive elements.
• A skip-to-content link at the start of each page.
• Full keyboard navigation; no mouse-only interactions.
• Animations honor the user's prefers-reduced-motion setting.
• Descriptive alt text on every content image; decorative imagery marked aria-hidden.
• Form labels paired programmatically to inputs, with inline error messages.
• No information is conveyed by color alone.

6. Accessibility tools we use

• Manual screen-reader review with NVDA on Windows, VoiceOver on macOS and iOS, and TalkBack on Android.
• Automated testing with axe-core integrated in our CI pipeline.
• Keyboard-only navigation testing on every release candidate.
• Periodic manual audits of color contrast against our dark electric-blue palette.
